Kent Ridge

NUS looks prettier than it did the last time i saw it. it must be the effect of the extensive renovation work done (probably to commemorate the centennial year). Anyway, i'm taking 5 modules this sem (as per usual)... 4 chemistry modules (2 year two, 2 year 3 modules - did year 3 modules in the uk, back to complete the level 2 modules) and 1 arts module. i just hope that i don't drown in a pool of equations, calculations and molecular structures. should be fine...... Logic! that's the arts module i'm doing. it'll definitely prove useful in evaluating arguments and identifying fallacies. was intending to take abnormal psychology but the bid points were too high (NUS operates on a bidding system for the allocation of modules to students). at least i'm interested in logic; some people are forced to take modules that they have no interest whatsoever in (just because they lack bid points). anyway, to keep things short, i think the bidding system is a terrible idea.

Well, i pray this sem will be more fulfilling and eventful than the previous 3.
To all my friends (esp. the guys who are just starting uni after 2 years of terrible waiting): All the best!! =)
