The holidays were a blast! Returned to lancaster from glasgow on 11/04/05 with a duffel which weighed a tonne, 2 bags of groceries and my handbag. carrying all that from the train station to the bus stop in town was really agonising. thankfully my accomodation is only 20m from the bus stop on campus thus saving me from another massive cardiovascular workout.
i found out the next day after bumping into my classmate, stefanie (brit of armenian heritage), that my environmental science exam has been postponed to the 20th of this month instead of the 15th, which coincidentally happens to be the day of my inorganic chemistry paper. the math is - 2 papers within 5 hours of each other. o well, i'll just have to deal with it. what really cheeses me off is the fact that the exams committee didn't bother to update the related websites properly or inform the students taking the module of the change. emails should have been sent out to all students concerned! i rang the exams office as a precaution to ensure that there weren't any other changes that i wasn't aware/notified of. irresponsibility at this level? sigh. still, thank God that i found out.
