Thanks peeps, u should know who u are. if not i guess, u all really "KMI". inside joke... hehe~ i really loved reading it and i'm going to read it a couple more times cos it's so sweet, cute and all things nice. heh.. someone knows something about copyrights (the sketches).. joking~ thanks for brightening up my day and yes, it did manage to get me off studying for a while. =) btw, i've got 4 tests this week, 2 on thurs, 2 on fri. shouldn't be a prob, hopefully =X haven't been studying much. glittery mini elastic bands!! - i like! =P (whoops... starting to sound a little bimbotic here)... *clears throat*
Also in my mailbox was a certificate for volunteering on campus, contributing to the pre-school inclusion project. it's so pretty and my coordinator actually went all the way - she laminated it for me. wow.. it's lovely. i really did enjoy my time there, playing with the kids, singing along with them, helplessly watching them pee in their pants (haha) and as usual, having favourites...=P you'll be amazed at how strict they are with regards to childcare here. u actually have to be police-cleared even if it's volunteer work. thankfully, i didn't have to go through that cos i am an exchange student, reason being that i would be on my plane home by the time they were over with it. it was also necessary to adhere to all the directions, safety rules and precautions put in place. e.g. 7 pointers to consider before lifting a child, yes 7. i'm sorry that even after all this, i fail to mention the purpose/aim(s) of the pre-school inclusion project - will blog an exclusive entry for it. =)
Anyway... just had an egg custard a.k.a. eggtart from Greggs for breakfast and i must say it's the most revolting thing i've ever tasted since coming to the uk, so much so i had to take a picture of it. well, here it is..

To begin with, it didn't look v nice at all, i seriously don't know why i bought it. perhaps i was desperate to have something "from home." so people, u have been warned - don't waste 45p (SGD1.35) on that horrible thing if u ever come here.. yuck. OMGosh, 1.35sing dollars?!! sorry, the exchange rate just hit me again. u can get at least 3 yummy ones from almost anywhere back in sg. they're delicacies compared to this.
Just some pics to from last night's dinner with huiqi and hock chun to complete the entry =P

cake: with compliments from anna
