$, It's just never enough...

just did my sums.. couple of hours ago.. here's the breakdown of my expenditure in the last 2 1/2 months. and believe it or not, most was spent on necessities.

Debit
Phone upgrade: $230
Malaysia trip: $100
Transport: $200 (stupid SMRT)
Graduation Expenditure: $200
(Academic dress, stage photos and plaque)
1 years supply of contacts: $200
New spectacles: $240 (freaking lenses alone cost $160)
Eating out/socialising with friends: $200
(why does eating have to be a social activity??)
Hair cut: $20 (thank goodness for % vouchers)
2 pairs of jeans: $200
2 pairs of heels, 1 pair of sandals: $100
(my old ones were decomposing.. like seriously.)
Phone bills: $150
(annoying customers!! my bill used to be $30/mth!)
Miscellaneous: $150
TOTAL: $1990

now this is serious.. i can survive on $200/mth
or less during term time.

Salary from 30days work: $1650
Graduation red packet: $100 (from kenny's parents)

Now.. thank Goodness for savings! i'm not in the red! heh... i agree the jeans, shoes and phone were a little extravagant but hey, i'll be using them for the next few years or so..

just came to mind to thank my Daddy, for funding uni my education - the full cost. i'm just so thankful that i'm not in debt before i even start work. i've friends who have to take loans from banks or use their parents cpf to fund their education. thank u God for blessing me even though i don't deserve it.
